How to Install josm software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

josm software package provides Editor for OpenStreetMap, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install josm

josm is installed in your system.

Make ensure the josm package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep josm *

You will get with josm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
